INVESTMENTS PORTFOLIO
PNN Capital focuses on strategic investments in listed and non-listed, mid-large capitalisation deals through minority investments, partnerships or acquisitions. We invest across industries in both growth-orientated businesses globally with a particular focus on the financial services, healthcare, retail and technology sectors.
PNN Capital works in partnership with blue-chip companies, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and state-owned investment vehicles targeting investments in high-quality assets at attractive prices globally, particularly where there are opportunities to expand globally.
To better serve its clients and partners, PNN Capital is currently building a discretionary investment platform, as well as stock and asset-based lending capabilities.

In March 2020 PNN Capital completed a structuring and advisory project for a client in Nigeria that set up a unique retail platform for the Nigerian Army. A chain of over 50 supermarkets and stores across the country as well as a state-of-the-art online portal for shopping has been created to cater to the needs of the vast customer base of the Nigerian Army and other government institutions. Napex.ng is one of the most successful online retailers in the country.

In August 2020, PNN Capital announced its first acquisition of a controlling 24% stake in Vtron Group 002308.SZ, a world-leading developer, manufacturer and distributer of computer and video display systems, for RMB 1.456 b (USD 212 m). PNN Capital invested as a Limited Partner, while government-controlled Beijing Digital China Capital Co,. Ltd (BDCC) acted as a General Partner.
The investment presented an opportunity to create a unique and unprecedented opportunity that will allow Vtron to use its full potential by tapping into domestic opportunities, as well as push forward its global expansion.
